Join Thom’s Community!

I LOVE connecting and sharing stories about cars. My favorite memories and adventures are always connected to a trip or person I met or some shared experience. So how do you become apart of my community?

  • Join me on social media! I’m on Instagram and TikTok all the time—Follow me! I’m always sharing my new projects, life updates, and funny videos.

  • Instagram Subscriptions! Support me on Instagram to get the latest access to my new ideas, projects, and my community. You’ll be able to listen and watch my new podcast , participate in livestreams, and see my content before anyone else!

Finding Local Community

Whether you just moved to a new area or you have lived in the same house for 20 years, it can be difficult to find other car enthusiasts! Here’s my tips for finding a local community:

  • Search Instagram/Facebook for Local car meetups or Cars & Coffee events

  • Check for a local chapter of your favorite brand’s car club. For example, my BMW CCA (Car Club of America) is the Northern Ohio chapter.

  • Find local car industry companies and see if they are having an open house/event. You also might want to use their services!

Finding Online Community

For the most part, our interactions are online. I talk to people in the car community online every single day, but I only meetup with people every handful of weeks.

  • Check forums and contribute your knowledge and experiences.

  • Join Facebook car groups that pertain to your interests. Make sure to.

  • Look for your favorite Brand’s car club. Most brands have an online community they curate and connect people.

Finding Social Community

There are so many different platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok. How do you find and create community on these platforms?

  • Kindness. Find people and accounts that are kind and support others! It’s easy to find people who build incredible cars, but it’s tougher finding accounts where flexing and “taking someone to gabblebees” isn’t the main purpose. Look at the comments people make on posts and you’ll see their true colors.

  • ASK. Ask friends and people you follow what accounts they like! Some of my favorite people are:
